constellations remind me i am home.

but today presents the perfect chance to acknowledge those things in my life that really shine, so today i’m especially thankful for:

my best friend in the whole wide world, courtney, who is my voice of reason, my other (and better) half, one of my favorite people to talk to (and fangirl over poolie, martin, johno, halvo, caleb and kyle etcetc with), the one person who knows me inside and out, and the closest thing i’ve ever had to a sister. ily pookie.

my parents, who have gotten me through so much this year.

karenator, who has been one the best additions to my life this year, my soulmate, and one of my favorite people to hang out with.

music, which has gotten me through a lot this year as well, and has been the stand in for my pookie since she lives so far away.

the rest of my family.

the rest of my friends. even though they’re scattered all around, they’re like my family.

kcsu fm. as much as i’ve whined about things there this year, i know i’m lucky to work there and for all the opportunities it’s afforded me.
